AP Construction Exceeds Goals in its Mission to Build Measurable Impact Beyond the Job Site

With the holidays in full swing, now is a great time to reflect on Adolfson & Peterson Construction’s (AP) dedication to delivering positive, measurable changes to communities where its team members live and build. AP demonstrates this core value through volunteering, fundraising and charitable giving.

From food banks and donation drives to annual golf tournaments, AP marked a record year (ranging from October 2024 to September 2025) of increasing its contributions, according to the data points in the annual AP Impact Report.

Through fundraising events, sponsorships, corporate giving and in-kind donations companywide, AP members and partners reached new heights, increasing their community service efforts year-over-year:

  • AP participated in 41 community events across all regions. This broader reach included more local partners, schools and nonprofits than ever before with a 47% increase over 2024.
  • Volunteer participation grew by 63% with 519 volunteers contributing a total of 884 hours of service (a 20% increase).
  • Sponsorship donations to local causes and organizations totaled $419,799.
  • AP donated $61,880 in volunteer time value and 2,493 items ranging from meals and blankets to backpacks and bikes.
  • Community fundraisers and giving campaigns raised $303,005.
  • Total funds raised increased 52% YOY.

Benefitting Local Populations in Need

The types of organizations AP supported included local food banks, at-risk youth and adults, housing and home repair, healthcare and hospitals, education and schools, environmental conservation, veteran and military support, and community enrichment.

This holiday season, the Texas AP office chose to give back to several types of organizations that align with AP’s core values. AP curated a variety of opportunities for AP team members to select how and where they want to contribute, whether through volunteering time, financially or through physical donations.

“AP is committed to supporting those who need it most,” said Regional President Granger Hassmann. “AP’s mission to build trust, communities and people continues to guide our work on and off the jobsite.”

AP’s Impact Report numbers show growth, but the true measure is the consistency with which the teams show up ready to contribute, he added. Community engagement plays an essential role for AP, across all of its regions, the report states, connecting each team to the people and places that make the firm’s work meaningful.

“The spirit of giving runs deep in our region,” Hassmann said. “Our team shows up with enthusiasm and heart in everything we do, whether it is our annual golf tournament or donating holiday gifts to families in need through The Salvation Army of North Texas. It’s incredible to see how every effort, big or small, helps our communities thrive.”

In November, AP team members raised more than $210,000 for the 10th Annual Charity Golf Classic with net proceeds totaling $140,000 to benefit Community Partners of Dallas and The TEXO Foundation. Over three dozen trade partners participated in the event and fundraising efforts with AP’s Texas regional office.

AP’s Mission Critical project team filled three boxes for the annual Toys for Tots drive and another 10 AP staffers volunteered to help stuff stockings for Cook Children’s Health Foundation. Volunteers also assisted with Cook’s Drive Through Event to help create moments of magic for the patients.

There’s even more holiday goodwill this season. AP offered additional opportunities for team members to choose how and where they wanted to contribute throughout North and Central Texas. Among those efforts:

  • Community Partners of Dallas – with multiple “angels” for adoption to fulfill a child’s wish card.
  • Dallas Dog | Rescue, Rehab, Reform – donation of essential supplies supporting critical animal rescue efforts throughout Dallas-Fort Worth.
  • Wonders & Worries – donation of essential supplies to support children and teenagers through a parent’s serious illness or injury.
  • Hill Country Community Ministries – providing food items to support the food pantry in Western Williamson and Northwest Travis counties.

“AP’s community service commitment continues to evolve into a companywide movement that unites our people, partners and projects around a shared purpose,” Hassmann said. “Our Impact Report, in particular, truly captures a year defined by growth, generosity and teamwork; celebrating the collective efforts of AP team members who go beyond their daily work to strengthen the communities where we live and work.”
