Adolfson & Peterson Construction Grew, Moved and Donated to Raise Awareness and Funds for Men’s Health

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (December 4, 2017) – Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP) is proud to announce final participation results for the Movember Foundation’s annual Movember campaign, which challenges men to grow a moustache, men and women to get active and take the Move Challenge, or raise money for the foundation – all of which spark conversations and raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health.

In addition to 18 employees that grew for the cause, over 2,200 miles were logged from AP’s move participants and $3,300 was donated to the non-profit.

The Movember Foundation is the only global charity focused solely on men’s health. Men started Movember 1st clean-shaven and grew a moustache for the month, men and women participants committed to get active through the Move Challenge and all participants asked friends, family and colleagues to donate to their efforts to change the face of men’s health.

“Prostate cancer impacts the construction industry like no other. AP felt compelled to incorporate the annual Movember campaign into its outreach as an opportunity that benefits not only the community but our employees and partners too,” said Jeff Hansen, Chief Executive Officer.

In its first year participating, AP placed 9th in Movember’s US Construction Challenge.
