Adolfson & Peterson Construction Tops Out Apache’s New Office Building in Midland

MIDLAND, Tex. - A Topping Out event was hosted today at the site of Apache Corporation’s regional office in Midland to commemorate reaching the final height of the structure.  Adolfson & Peterson Construction is serving as the construction manager for this project, which will add a new three-story office building adjacent to Apache’s existing regional office located on Veterans Airpark Lane.

Designed by Kirksey Architecture and managed by ADAMS, the project will consist of 70,750 square feet of office space and other amenities, including a day care, cafeteria/dining, fitness center, conference center and a physician’s clinic. Construction has been underway since July 2017.

“It is exciting to reach this critical milestone and continue progress on this important project,” said Corbett Nichter, President, Gulf States Region with AP.  “Adams has been a wonderful partner to AP, and the strong team commitment of Apache, Kirksey and ADAMS has been the foundation of the project’s success to this point and will support a successful completion.”

“Today’s ceremony marks a milestone in the construction process. We are pleased to be getting one step closer to bringing this amenity building to life for our employees” said Keith Josey, director of Real Estate & Office Services, Apache Corporation.

The event included a lunch for all of the workers on the job-site and provided a chance for everyone to sign the final beam that will be installed.

Substantial completion is currently slated for September 2018.
