MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Today, Adolfson & Peterson, Inc. (A&P) announced the resignation of Doug Jaeger as Chief Executive Officer of the company effective December 31, 2013. The A&P Board of Directors has accepted Jaeger’s resignation and wishes him the best in his future plans. The Board has named Steven Pinney, current Board Chairman, as Interim CEO while it conducts a search for a new CEO. Pinney is a retired senior executive with 34 years of experience with Cargill, Inc. and The Mosaic Company (NYSE: MOS). He also served previously as Interim CEO for a heavy highway, bridge and underground utilities contractor.

Jaeger has been CEO of A&P since July 2008. Under his leadership, the company has established a national footprint with operations coast-to-coast and border-to-border while diversifying the business into high-growth market segments. As the industry recovers from a deep recession, A&P has focused on operational excellence and putting the business on a solid growth trajectory. As a direct result of these efforts, A&P’s project awards and resulting backlog
is at a record level in the company’s history.
Jaeger will pursue other leadership endeavors after transitioning from A&P. Pinney will immediately assume the role of Interim CEO.
