AP Breaks Ground on the Castle View High School Addition

Castle Rock, CO (May 28, 2020) – On Thursday, May 28, 2020, Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP), along with partners Douglas County School District, NV5, and Eidos Architects, broke ground on the site of the new Castle View High School F-Pod addition. Speakers made sure to thank the voters of Douglas County for making this possible with the passage of 5A and 5B in November of 2018.

Located in growing Douglas County, Castle View High School is in need for larger learning facilities. AP will be working with Eidos Architecture, DCSD and NV5 on an addition the are calling the “F-Pod”.  This will be a fully occupied school throughout the build and will be completed in-time for students to occupy the space in Jan. 2021.

Work is slated to wrap up in time for the 2021-22 school year and will increase capacity by 350 students from the current level, which serves just below 2,100 students.
