Duluth, Minnesota – (July 1, 2025) – Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP), a national, family-owned construction management and contracting company, recently hosted its fourth annual charity bean bag tournament in Duluth, Minnesota. The event raised a record-breaking $15,200 in donations.
This year’s proceeds were split between two local organizations: the Duluth Fire Foundation and the Duluth Police Foundation, each receiving a $7,600 check to support their missions. This marks the highest fundraising total in the tournament’s history, surpassing $13,000 in 2024 and $11,000 in 2023.
“This tournament has grown into something really special over the past four years,” said Patrick Sims, General Manager at AP. “It’s not just about having fun; it’s about rallying our industry and community to support those who serve and protect us every day. We’re proud to give back to the Duluth Fire and Police Foundations through an event that brings people together for a great cause.”
The tournament continues to be one of AP’s signature community events in the region, bringing people together for a day of friendly competition and charitable giving. At AP, building strong communities goes beyond construction projects; it includes hosting events like this that make a lasting impact.
Mark your calendars — the fifth annual tournament is already scheduled for May 7, 2025, at Clyde Iron Works.
