This four-story county jail was built on a tight, sloping, city site and adjacent to occupied facilities, requiring complex logistics. The facility is the cornerstone of the Scott County Government campus, featuring a 160-cell jail with the ability to double bunk, law enforcement center, emergency management operations center, 911 dispatch center, secured courtroom, and semi-secure waiting area. The facility is connected to the Scott County Government Center by public skyway and to the circuit courts by a secure underground inmate tunnel.
