226 kW
A&P Role:
Engineering, Procurement and Construction

Integrated into the County’s Public Utilities Operations and Vehicle Maintenance facility, the scope involved mounting 962 modules to a standing seam metal-roof of a large vehicle port. Our team’s ability to not only lead the design and installation phases of the solar project but also manage the overall construction of the supporting vehicle port structure was a key differentiator during the client’s selection process. AP’s deep national vendor relationships allowed the team to acquire a specialized racking system from a Colorado-based solar vendor whose system is specifically fabricated for the standing seam roof. Despite the project’s location in the rainy and often cloudy Pacific Northwest, this installation continues to provide reliable, high-volume solar power that regularly exceeds the monthly projections established pre-installation.
