The new Columbine Elementary school replaces an outdated and functionally deficient facility with a new 68,294 SF, 21st century learning environment with the capacity to support 500 students. The new, two-story Columbine Elementary School has 68,294 SF (an increase of nearly 20,000 SF) and the capacity to house 500 students. The new school provides a quality, modern state of the art environment and ample flexible space for students. The incorporation of “green” design principles significantly reduce the annual operation and maintenance costs and provides a daily example of the benefits of green technologies and resource conservation to elementary learners.
