Highland Park ISD Multi-Purpose Activities Center

Location:
Dallas, Texas
Total Project Cost:
$4.2 million
A&P Role:
CMGC/CMAR

Thanks to the many cost savings that A&P found for the school district during its bond program renovation projects, the district was able to add the new construction of this multi-purpose facility to the program. The facility was constructed in less than three months, thanks to a thorough nine-month planning process. Located adjacent to the district high school, the new center includes an 80-yard practice field that can accommodate athletic programs such as football, soccer and baseball, and is also equipped with a sophisticated sound system and film platform. The facility includes 60,000 square feet of the same top-quality turf used in many professional sports venues. The turf was one reason that the facility was selected as the indoor practice facility for the Green Bay Packers during Super Bowl Week 2011.
