Reid Park Zoo School

Adolfson & Peterson specializes in sustainable construction management services for municipal and government facilities and building projects. We just finished the Reid Park Zoo School in Tuscon, Arizona.
The school, part of the Reid Park Zoo, is a LEED® Platinum registered facility, and the deconstruction and rebuilding will incorporate maximum use of recycled materials. The construction includes pervious concrete, bamboo carpentry, alternative fuel stations, photovoltaic (solar power), and operable windows. This school will be used as a living laboratory exemplifying healthy building concepts and energy conservation.
