Edward Jones 8620 Building
Location: Tempe, Arizona
Client: Edward Jones
Design Partners: Arcturis
The Edward Jones 8620 Building houses a mission–critical center setup to operate 24–7 and handle the transfer of all operations from the company's St. Louis headquarters location. The critical and technical nature of this facility required close collaboration between A&P, Arcturis and Edward Jones. A&P's unique partnering process ensured the delivery of a successful project. The 100,000 square foot building employs redundant technology for data, electrical and mechanical systems.
LEED® strategies were employed during the construction of the facility. Energy efficient lighting is used throughout the facility with daylight controlled perimeter lighting and photovoltaic cells that control interior lighting. Interior, motorized blinds and screens on exterior windows that automatically function based on heat/light are also utilized for energy efficiency. Another LEED® strategy is the use of effluent water for landscaping.
