AP Raises Funds for James L. West to Provide Care For People Suffering From Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders

The mission and philosophy behind the James L. West Center for Dementia Care is to serve persons with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders and their families in a compassionate and spiritual environment. AP was able to tour their facility and witness firsthand the impact James L. West is making for their patients. Following the tour, AP was thrilled to present a $25,000 check to James L. West Center for Dementia Care to support their efforts in assisting the whole family from diagnosis to end of life. The funds were raised in AP’s 2019 Annual Charity Golf Classic, where James L. West served as a benefactor for the first year. AP completed renovations on the James L. West facility in 2017 and has since become passionate about their mission and has strived to strengthen their charitable efforts with the organization.

James L. West is a not-for-profit organization founded on the love and compassion of Eunice P. West. This Center provides individualized care and support to enhance the quality and dignity of each person’s life throughout the course of the disease. By participating in meaningful research and sharing its experience and knowledge, the Center is committed to enriching lives now and in the future. For more information, visit their website here.
