Kaiser Permanente Franklin Multi-Specialty Building - 12th Floor Addition

Denver, Colorado
17,200 SF
A&P Role:

Since 1990 AP has worked continuously on Kaiser Permanente's Franklin medical campus, completing dozens of projects both large and small. Moving Kaiser Permanente’s oncology department to the Franklin medical campus involved two phases: demolishing the existing 3,700-square-foot 12th floor, which had been constructed with structural concrete columns, beams, joist, and deck, and then adding 13,500 square feet of new clinical space. Demolition required extensive preplanning since the 11th floor was occupied by the gastroenterology department, which needed to remain fully functional. AP successfully worked directly above vital medical procedures for the entire nine-month project. Despite rain delays, the project was completed on time and, thanks to value engineering, also finished several thousand dollars under budget.

Awards: Award of Excellence, Project Under $10 Million, Kaiser Permanente National Facilities Services; Gold Hard Hat Award, Outstanding Healthcare Project, Colorado Construction
