Apple Valley, MN (November 12, 2019) — Adolfson & Peterson Construction’s (AP) commitment to an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) safety culture is a team effort. The team at the Apple Valley Transit Station Ramp project achieved the incredible feat of working 100 days with no lost time accidents. To recognize this milestone, AP hosted a BBQ safety lunch for everyone on site. “We are celebrating today because each one of you has made a commitment to work safely and ensure you and your crews go home safely each day,” remarked AP Safety Manager, Jared Anderson, addressing the project team. “Thank you for your hard work and dedication to AP’s IIF culture.”
Construction on the transit station began June 10, with a scope of work that includes adding two additional levels to the existing parking structure and stair towers.
