AP Awarded Contract for Raytheon Technologies' Finish-Out of Independence Site

Project includes 236,000-square-foot interior finish-out of existing four-story building

Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP), national, family-owned construction management and contracting company, was recently awarded the contract for the interior renovation of Raytheon Technologies’ Independence project in Plano, Texas.

The project, planned for completion in 2023, includes a 236,000-square-foot interior finish-out of the existing four-story building, which includes office space and labs. Additionally, the Plano campus project will include site improvements, security fencing, additional guard shacks and paving modifications.

Raytheon Technologies has been working with AP since 2014. Over the years, AP has completed more than 1.6 million square feet of projects for the company.

AP Gulf States’ current projects include adaptive reuse work at downtown Dallas’ Santander Tower. Additionally, AP’s recent notable completed projects include the new PGA of America headquarters in Frisco, Texas, and Vari’s headquarters with VariSpace in Coppell, Texas. The AP Central Texas office’s notable work includes constructing Sunrise Commerce Center in Round Rock while AP’s Midland-based West Texas office is currently building on an expansion of the Midland College campus.
