AP Makes Campus Improvements to St. Monica Catholic School

While staff and students at St. Monica Catholic School in Dallas enjoyed summer break, AP was hard at work renovating the 36,000-square-foot facility for the new school year.

Before kicking off the project, AP worked hand-in-hand with St. Monica Catholic School administrators through multiple preconstruction updates to determine its renovation needs and budget, as well as develop the renovation schedule.

The project’s scope included renovation work on the school’s 36 classrooms, corridors and restrooms. Classrooms received new HVAC (36 new RTUs) units and ductwork, and a new exterior glazing system. Sitework consisted of upgrading sidewalks to be ADA compliant and creating a secure campus environment with new fencing.

Throughout construction, AP remained dedicated to working through various challenges – including essential additions to the project’s scope of work – and managed to meet St. Monica’s crucial deadline.

The renovations were part of the school’s “We Are St. Monica Renovation Capital Campaign,” which strives to address the school’s infrastructure needs so that it may continue to build on its proud tradition rooted in faith.
