Northside Independent School District (ISD) is Texas’ fourth-largest school district located in San Antonio. The magnet school is situated on the campus of Northside ISD’s oldest high school, Marshall High School, which also underwent significant renovations.
The new addition consists of a 3-story, 80,450-sf, cast-in-place structure that terminates into an existing Career and Technology building that was built in the 1940s. Renovations to this building and renovations to the administration area are included in the project.
The building is surrounded by new concrete sidewalks along with landscaping and the parking lot received new asphalt, striping and lighting infrastructure for new light poles.
Additionally, the project also included the construction of a new soccer field, softball field, and a track and field multipurpose area with auto irrigation systems. New fencing will also be provided and there is a new portable restroom/storage building directly behind the new softball field.
