Overview

AP completed the Park Hill medical office building, a 51,000 square foot, three story facility located at the corner of Kimzey Street and Locke Avenue in downtown Fort Worth, Texas. The first floor houses an 18,262 square foot ambulatory surgical center, while the upper two floors were built as shell space to accommodate future medical clinics.

More about the project

Inside, the MOB showcases classical, high end finishes, including Italian tile, wood veneer paneling, and elegant light fixtures. The rotunda’s high ceilings are brightly lit, and the surgical center’s color palette is designed around a tropical retreat theme, incorporating ocean blue, sunset red, and tropical orange. The glass canopy over the main entrance required precise installation, with cantilevered beams and spider fittings set to exact tolerances, resulting in a visually stunning “floating” effect described by the architect as a signature design element.

This project highlights the exceptional results achieved through close collaboration and the dedicated focus of the AP team, delivering a medical office building that combines functionality, advanced surgical facilities, and distinctive architectural design.
