RICHARDSON, Texas – (October 31, 2022) – Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP), a national, family-owned construction management and contracting company, raised funds in support of North Texas veterans and at-risk youth at the company’s 7th Annual Charity Golf Classic.
Located at Golf Clubs at the Tribute in The Colony, AP Gulf States’ team members and about 120 North Texas golfers in the A/E/C industry united to raise more than $120,000 – comprised of numerous sponsorships and individual donations – with portions going back to Hearts & Hammers, Dallas CASA and The Ashford Rise School of Dallas. Raising more than $100,000 annually since 2016, the event has given back nearly $550,000 for North Texas charitable organizations.
“We strive to embody compassion with every partnership we forge and every task we undertake within the community,” said Will Pender, president of AP Gulf States. “The Charity Golf Classic is AP’s way of giving back to the area we live and build in an effort to make a measurable impact in the lives of our neighbors, community members and friends.”
In its second year, AP’s company-wide Day of Giving program encourages AP team members across the nation to leverage paid time off to give back to their local communities. Team members at AP’s other regional offices also participated in charitable events, extending the Day of Giving initiative throughout the nation.
Major sponsors of the Annual Charity Golf Classic include JMEG, Kent Companies, Integrated Interiors, TAS Concrete, Brandt, GMi, Kilgore Industries, JC Millwork and Piper Weatherford.
