North Dallas Government Center

The North Dallas Government Center project consists of a complete demolition of the existing first through third levels and build back of courtrooms, lobbies and offices. The project scope included a complete MEP Renovation including upgrades to the existing chilled water air handlers and distribution, adding rooftop chilled water air handlers, roof cutting and patching, and installation of a new VAV system with electric reheat.

The existing building is over 35 years old, and with the interior upgrade and bookmatch work all spaces are now bright and modern, and the dark walnut paneling used in the three courtrooms adds a rich, classic component to the building. A new entry canopy was constructed and additional modifications were completed to the existing slab-on-void foundations.
