Overview

Adolfson & Peterson Construction has completed numerous interior renovation projects for Raytheon at its CityLine campus, delivering highly secure and technically complex environments. These projects required modifications to existing spaces to meet stringent ICD 705 standards, including the construction of new secure walls, reconfiguration of ceiling systems, and installation of STC 50-rated doors and hardware.

AP’s work also included upgrades to electrical and HVAC systems to support secure operations, installation of advanced security and access control systems, and integration of life safety Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) to ensure reliable first responder communications. Additional scope included modifications to fire alarm and sprinkler systems, data cabling installation and rerouting, window shade adjustments, and coordination with furniture vendors to support final space configurations.

More about the project

Building on this experience, AP was awarded additional work within an active laboratory environment in Building C27. This project involved expanding power and cooling capacity through new HVAC piping and CRAH units, installing and rerouting Starline busways, and upgrading critical electrical infrastructure, including transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, and generators. The scope also included enhancements to chilled water systems with new chillers and cooling tower support.

Since completing the Raytheon Regional Headquarters in Richardson, Texas, AP has delivered more than 25 SCIF environments, demonstrating deep expertise in secure, mission-critical construction within active facilities.
