From the onset of our partnership with AP, it was evident that their expertise and commitment were exceptional. Even before selecting an architect for our project, AP demonstrated a proactive approach to ensure a strong alliance for effective planning and development. Their focus extended beyond the immediate construction phase, prioritizing long-term operational efficiency and sustainability, considering the lifetime costs of systems and maintenance.

What sets A-P Construction apart is not simply their technical expertise, but the spirit with which they work. They forged genuine trust with our staff, students, and broader community. Every interaction reflected their deep commitment to ensuring that our school would not just be a building, but a place where students and educators can thrive. We will genuinely be sad to see the A-P team leave our site. Our long-awaited new, forever home for our alternative high school will always have, as a part of its story, this outstanding collaboration.

At Rio Vista, I have received numerous compliments from the Director of Plant Operations, the CEO, the CFO and clinical leadership on how responsive and effective Adolfson and Peterson has been throughout the construction project. The relationship they have developed with both local and corporate staff is emblematic of that which Acadia has received from Adolfson and Peterson Construction team members on other projects.

From the outset, this was no ordinary project. Our vision required urgency, creativity, and collaboration at the highest level. AP joined the team when we had only a rough sketch and a short timeline to secure a competitive DOLA grant. Their preconstruction team worked swiftly to develop a reliable budget and project plan – one that ultimately held through final delivery. That alone speaks volumes.

AP has been an ideal partner for our project. They have kept our contractors on pace, making sure the project is flowing smoothly and that all parties are accountable for the tasks they signed on to complete. I was curious on one certain day when dirt work stopped. It turned out the contractor in charge of the removal had taken their street sweeper to another job. AP management had shut down the job until the equipment was back on site to ensure that our citizens streets remained free and clear of debris. It showed that they were just as concerned about our community as they were the project at hand. The staff is kind, courteous and above all else professional, yet very direct and upfront with their (our) expectations. I would hire them again immediately for our next project and would highly recommend their services to anyone inquiring.

AP delivered on budget and on time. No easy feat for a project completed during the height of the pandemic. They also preserved the budget to assist us with betterments to maximize safety and security for our new school. The project succeeded in part due to the team's dedication and their ability to communicate. This was an active construction site with an adjoining operational high school. Even with these challenges, the AP team beat the construction schedule we had initially identified by almost an entire year. We just graduated our first class from the new and improved school; these students had an exceptional experience in the new facility.
