AP’s Casey Mitschke Recognized as Rising Star at Bisnow Women Leading Real Estate Event

Bisnow, the world’s leading B2B platform serving the commercial real estate industry, recently recognized Casey Mitschke, Director of Preconstruction at Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP), as a Rising Star at its 2026 Dallas Women Leading Real Estate Awards.

Since joining AP in 2009 as a field engineer intern, Casey has grown into a key leadership role, earning the trust of colleagues and clients through her technical expertise, strategic thinking and ability to turn complex challenges into actionable solutions. Today, she leads preconstruction planning, cost modeling, GMP development, and bid and budget reviews to position projects for success from the earliest stages.

Casey’s leadership is particularly impactful as AP expands into evolving and high-demand sectors such as mission-critical and adaptive reuse. A standout example is her work on the repositioning of Santander Tower in Dallas, where she led preconstruction for the conversion of 14 floors into 291 luxury apartments. As the project advances into Phase 2, Casey continues to lead preconstruction efforts as additional floors are converted, expanding the residential component of the development. The project required balancing cost, constructability and market considerations while identifying potential challenges early to minimize change orders and streamline collaboration among architects, consultants and project partners.
