At Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP), strong leadership comes in many forms. At The Craftsman on France, two women are playing critical roles in bringing an important vision to life.
The Craftsman on France will soon become the future home of AP’s headquarters, making it a meaningful project not only for our clients and community but for the entire company. Helping lead the effort are Project Manager Amber Sager and Assistant Superintendent Pam Wilson, whose expertise, leadership, and dedication have been vital to the project’s success.
Amber Sager: Leading with Purpose
With 13 years of experience in construction management and general contracting, Amber Sager brings both precision and passion to her role as Project Manager. Her journey into the industry began unexpectedly when she stepped into a Project Administrator role and quickly discovered a passion for the fast-paced challenges of construction.
Motivated to grow, Amber pursued a degree in Construction Management at Dunwoody College of Technology while continuing to build her career. Over the years, she advanced through roles as Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager before stepping into Project Management, where she now leads projects from concept to completion.
Amber has worked on several notable projects, including two Life Time resort-style clubs. One of her most challenging and rewarding projects was the interior renovation of Mystic Lake Casino’s Hop House restaurant, where she successfully managed tight timelines and complex logistics within an occupied facility.
For Amber, being a woman in construction means embracing challenges and continuing to grow as a leader. She credits the support of AP leadership, her colleagues, and clients who trust her to help bring their visions to life.
Pam Wilson: From the Trades to Leadership
Assistant Superintendent Pam Wilson brings more than a decade of construction experience and a unique perspective shaped by a diverse professional background.
Pam’s path to leadership began in the trades, progressing from Laborer to Commercial Carpenter and ultimately into field leadership. Her foundation was built through formal carpentry training at Summit Academy and years of hands-on experience across commercial construction projects.
Before entering the construction industry, Pam spent 12 years working as a registered nurse. That experience strengthened her ability to think critically, problem-solve under pressure, and communicate effectively, skills that continue to serve her well in the field today.
Her passion for construction began even earlier, learning practical skills alongside her father while working on his rental properties. Today, she brings that same hands-on mindset to the jobsite.
Pam considers her work on The Craftsman on France one of the most rewarding projects of her career. The five-story office building includes two and a half levels of underground parking and incorporates complex systems and finishes—from post-tension structural work to elevators, advanced window systems, landscaping, and decorative precast installation.
Currently participating in AP’s Leadership Blueprint program, Pam is actively working toward becoming a Superintendent while continuing to expand her technical expertise.
Building the Future
Together, Amber and Pam represent the strength, leadership, and dedication that drive successful projects. Their collaboration and commitment have helped guide The Craftsman project through critical milestones and continue to move it toward completion.
As the future home of AP’s headquarters rises, it stands as a testament not only to quality construction but also to the talented professionals leading the way. With full trust in their abilities, Amber and Pam are helping shape a building that will represent AP for years to come.
Their work reflects something even larger: the growing impact of women leading important projects across the construction industry.
