Adolfson & Peterson Construction delivers three projects for MHA Nation – West Segment, supporting health, recreation, and community.
Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP) is proud to recognize major safety milestones across three projects for the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation (MHA Nation) – West Segment in Mandaree, ND as they near completion. These milestones reflect a zero lost time incident record across all three projects:
“These milestones don’t happen by accident,” said Glenn Petersen, Safety Director at AP. “They reflect a culture where people look out for one another, take the time to do things the right way, and make sure everyone goes home safe. At its core, safety is about caring for your own well-being and the people you work alongside, and these milestones show that commitment in action every day.”
This level of safety achievement reflects strong coordination and consistent execution across the project. AP’s project teams and trade partners have worked together throughout construction with a shared commitment to safety at every stage.
As construction enters its final stages, the focus shifts from progress to purpose. Each project plays a distinct role in serving MHA Nation and the surrounding community:
Together, these projects form a connected campus designed to support health, wellness, recreation, and community.
“It’s meaningful to be part of projects like this. I can’t wait to see these facilities open their doors for the community to enjoy,” said Dan Anderson, Tribal Project Executive at AP. “These spaces will soon become part of everyday life in Mandaree, serving the MHA Nation community for generations to come.”
Every safe day reflects the people behind the work. AP is honored to partner with MHA Nation – West Segment, Brunton Architects, and the many subcontractors and trade partners helping bring this vision to life.
