AP Project Receives Highest Score in Best in Building Health Awards

One of AP’s projects, Vari® headquarters recently won a Fitwel® Best in Building Health® award. The 180,000-square-foot Class A office building earned the highest score in the Multi-Tenant Whole Building (Design) classification, making Vari the first company in Texas to receive recognition in this category.

Located at 450 Freeport Parkway in Coppell, Texas, the project kicked off in June 2021 and was opened in August 2022. The facility was constructed in partnership with Corgan and BOKA Powell. The multi-tenant building is already more than 50% leased.

“From the beginning of the design process, the entire project team for the new Vari headquarters has been developed and built for the future of work, with the health of current and future employees in mind, and this award from FitWel proves this,” said Bob Lemke, Vice President of Operations. “It has been a true privilege for all of us at AP to be part of this project at Vari.”

The prestigious award honors companies that enhance human health through buildings designed for wellness and sustainability. Fitwell sets the industry standard for evidence-based strategies that promote health and wellness through the built environment.

Vari’s mission is to create workspaces that elevate people – helping businesses rethink their offices, providing tenants with flexible, furnished spaces, and providing a space where people want to work.
