Rockwall County Jail

Rockwall County Jail project received an 82,943-sf expansion, adding 204 new beds to the current 240-bed residency, ultimately increasing to 444 beds. The development includes new civil infrastructure with direct and indirect supervision in two-story cell housing units, and new intake, visitation, kitchen, laundry, 16-bed medical and 20-bed mental health facilities. The new medical facility provides dental work, blood draws, and a state-of-the-art mental health facility increasing the overall well-being, efficiency, and safety needs of the county
