More about the project
The scope included a comprehensive MEP renovation to support the upgraded interiors and improve long-term building performance. Major system improvements included upgrades to the existing chilled water air handlers and distribution systems, installation of new rooftop chilled water air handling units, roof cutting and patching, and the implementation of a new VAV system with electric reheat. Additional structural modifications were completed to the existing slab-on-void foundation system, along with construction of a new entry canopy that elevates the building’s public presence.
Interior finishes balance modern performance with timeless character. Bright, refreshed public spaces are complemented by rich dark walnut paneling in the three courtrooms, creating a distinguished and enduring civic environment.
Delivered within an aggressive schedule and competitive pricing environment, the project required strategic trade coordination, multiple concurrent crews, and select shift work to maintain progress and meet critical milestones. Through proactive planning and disciplined execution, AP successfully completed the renovation while minimizing disruption and achieving schedule commitments.
