Overview

AP Construction completed multiple renovation projects for Arlington Independent School District as part of the district’s 2014 bond program, delivering upgrades across several campuses, including Arlington High School, Bowie High School, Ashworth Elementary School, Morton Elementary School, and South Davis Elementary School.

The scope of work included comprehensive upgrades to mechanical, electrical, communication, and plumbing systems, modernizing infrastructure to support current and future student needs. At Arlington High School, theatre improvements featured the replacement of theatrical systems, public address, and video equipment. Additional enhancements across campuses included upgrades to music rooms, computer labs, art and dance studios, science labs, and industrial arts spaces.

More about the project

Accessibility improvements were also implemented, with updated restroom fixtures, specialty equipment, and drinking fountains to meet ADA standards. Site improvements included new and renovated drive and fire lanes, parking areas, site lighting, and sidewalks to enhance safety and campus functionality.

These projects, totaling nearly $26 million, were delivered as part of Arlington ISD’s broader $663.1 million bond program, demonstrating AP’s ability to successfully execute multi-campus renovations within active school environments.
