Overview

This project included the construction of the new 120,390 sf Sports Park Center, a multi-generational recreation and athletic facility designed to serve residents of all ages. The facility features six basketball courts with an interchangeable turf field, recreation and lap pools, locker rooms, a dry sauna, cabanas, lifeguard support spaces, party rooms, childcare facilities, game and lounge areas, administrative offices, an indoor walking track, fitness areas, group exercise rooms, and an outdoor fitness terrace, creating a comprehensive destination for fitness, recreation, and community programming.

The project also included the 13,665 sf expansion and renovation of the existing 18,177 sf Reecy Davis Center, adding a new gymnasium, game room, and multipurpose spaces while modernizing the existing gymnasium, restrooms, fitness areas, offices, and community spaces. Additional site improvements included expanded surface parking and supporting infrastructure to improve accessibility and accommodate increased community use. Together, the Sports Park Center and Reecy Davis Center create a dynamic recreation campus that supports wellness, athletics, and year-round programming for the growing City of Greenville.
