Colorado State University Moby Locker Rooms

This design-build project renovated 8,400 sf of space in the north, lower level of the Moby Arena Complex to accommodate a new best-of-peer locker room experience for the CSU NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams. The locker rooms serve as a home away from home for student athletes who will utilize the space for several hours each week. The new facilities also serve as a recruiting tool for future athletic prospects and their parents.

The project included lockers and restroom/showers for approximately 16 student athletes per team, flex space/player lounges for each team, film rooms, a small coaches’ locker room/meeting space, and separate storage for basketball/game-day equipment. The project portrays a deep understanding of peer institution locker room facilities and what today’s student athletes and recruits find most compelling. The design solution respects the history of the CSU Basketball program and the Moby Arena Complex while stewarding the vision for growth and success of future student athletes.
