The John Glenn Middle School project consisted of an addition and remodel of the existing school. The new two-story, 84,000 sf classroom addition includes tech ed, home economics, music rooms, and a new pool. 146,500 sf of the existing building was remodeled into science classrooms, common areas, and break-out spaces. Throughout the building, new student support offices were built, and the existing administration areas were remodeled. The old pool was infilled, and a new gym was built in that location. New bus parking with an underground stormwater collection system was also added.
