In the heart of Windsor’s Raindance neighborhood, the new P-5 facility thrives amidst surrounding homes on a 10-acre site. Construction began in April 2023 following the successful bond passage in November 2022. With a capacity for 650+ P-5 students, the facility features 100-student Small Learning Communities (SLCs) across two stories, equipped with technology resources and teacher workrooms. A centralized Media Hub and STEM Laboratory promote interdisciplinary learning. Fitness, music, and cafeteria areas serve as communal hubs. Teacher workrooms peppered throughout the building ensure efficient preparation and operations. A similar facility, Hollister Lake, was completed at the same time.
The school gets its names from the surrounding orchards that are part of the area’s history. It’s modern farmhouse shape is created by nearly 48-foot long metal panels on the largest exterior peak.
