Overview

AP provided construction management services for a landmark office campus at CityLine serving as the regional headquarters for RTX. The development includes over 495,000 square feet of new office space across two three story buildings, one four story building, and a single story support facility. The campus features open office environments, a full service cafeteria, an on site fitness center, and an extensive data center designed to support mission critical operations.

More about the project

The project involved significant construction complexity, including 133 tilt wall panels, more than 27,000 cubic yards of concrete, and nearly 500 miles of cabling, all completed while maintaining an exceptional safety record with no lost time incidents. To improve efficiency, the team implemented a modular central utility plant that was prefabricated off site and delivered in two sections, allowing the system to be installed and operational within days. The campus also incorporates a flywheel UPS system to provide redundant power for critical infrastructure, reducing space requirements and improving sustainability compared to traditional battery systems.

Beyond the initial campus construction, the team has continued supporting RTX at CityLine with additional lab infrastructure expansions, power and cooling upgrades, and more than 25 secure facility renovations, maintaining a long standing construction partnership since 2015.
