Overview

AP Construction delivered the tenant improvement build-out for Vistaprint’s 200,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, transforming the core and shell into a fully operational printing and reprographics production space with integrated office areas. The project included full MEP installation, including a new boiler and hot water pumps, while carefully coordinating with previously purchased components from the facility’s initial design.

A key challenge involved integrating the building’s original MEP design with revised interior requirements, particularly regarding the emergency generator and ATS systems. With the owner located overseas in Spain, AP successfully coordinated all communications via conference calls and leveraged in-house MEP expertise to develop cost-effective solutions.

By collaborating closely with subcontractors, engineers, and the owner’s team, AP resolved integration issues without additional cost or schedule impacts, ensuring the facility met all operational and remote monitoring requirements. This project highlights AP’s ability to manage complex technical build-outs, coordinate across time zones, and deliver innovative solutions for mission-critical manufacturing facilities.
