Overview

APConstruction completed the new A.V. Cato Elementary School, a modern facility designed to serve 900 students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The school provides a full range of learning environments and support spaces to foster student growth and engagement.

The building includes classrooms for grades 1–5, as well as pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classrooms with private, single-occupancy restrooms. Special education classrooms and support areas are integrated throughout the campus. Dedicated spaces for art, music, and science, along with computer labs, support a well-rounded academic experience.

More about the project

Physical education facilities include a gymnasium, offices, storage, and restrooms, while the library features workrooms, offices, storage, and fully furnished spaces for student learning. The school also includes a food service area with preparation and serving facilities, and a cafetorium complete with a stage and storage.

Supporting the building’s operations are thoughtfully designed service and support areas, including corridors, lobbies, mechanical and electrical rooms, data hubs, fire sprinkler rooms, restrooms, storage, and custodial spaces.

This project delivers a modern, functional, and student-focused learning environment that meets the educational and community needs of A.V. Cato Elementary School.
