Agave Ridge Behavioral Hospital

Agave Ridge Behavioral Hospital is a new 73,930 sf single-story 102-bed hospital on a 12+ acre site. This inpatient facility includes inpatient nursing units for adults and adolescents, exterior activity yards, interior activity centers, group therapy areas, administrative offices, PHB, IOP, and ECT clinics, pharmacy, commercial kitchen, dining hall, and training and conference rooms. Extensive mechanical and electrical components required the utilization of relationships with local utility providers. This facility is considered high security, with state-of-the-art anti-ligature specifications for high-risk occupants. Full building automation allows for strategic sectioning of the building for various patient classifications, as well as ROAR’s Panic Button Solution, a tool that utilizes Bluetooth network and LTE back-up to provide employees with panic buttons to be kept on each individual employee in case of emergency. This was implemented throughout the entirety of the building to reduce response time and virtually eliminate the concern of harm to staff and patients.
