AP was proud to deliver this state-of-the-art water treatment facility, a project that confirms their dedication to quality, safety, and innovation. The facility comprises two large buildings, each designed around central exterior tank farms that house an advanced water treatment system. These systems feature advanced technologies, including ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, granular activated carbon (GAC), and anionic ion exchange, all designed to achieve the highest standards of water quality.
AP’s role extended beyond constructing the treatment systems to include managing the development of a robust conveyance system for untreated water and an efficient distribution network for the purified water. The larger building presented unique technical challenges, such as installing a six-tier piping rack system that accommodates a range of pipe sizes—from 24-inch treated water mains to 2-inch chemical dosing lines—ensuring optimal flow and functionality. The smaller building, classified as Hazardous Occupancy, required a focus on safety, and AP ensured the incorporation of explosion relief wall panels to meet rigorous safety standards.
The success of this project highlights AP’s commitment to leveraging advanced technologies and innovative designs to address complex challenges. The result is a robust and adaptable water treatment system, built to deliver reliable performance and long-term sustainability.
