Overview

AP  Construction delivered a new magnet school addition for Northside Independent School District—Texas’ fourth-largest school district—located on the campus of Marshall High School in San Antonio. The project also included significant renovations to the existing high school, enhancing both academic and campus-wide facilities.

The new addition features a three-story, cast-in-place structure that seamlessly connects to the existing Career and Technology building, originally constructed in the 1940s. Renovations to this historic facility, along with updates to the administration areas, modernized the campus while preserving its legacy.

Site improvements included new concrete sidewalks, upgraded landscaping, and enhancements to the parking lot with new asphalt, striping, and lighting infrastructure. The project also delivered new athletic facilities, including a soccer field, softball field, and a track and field multipurpose area, complete with irrigation systems, fencing, and a new portable restroom and storage building.

This project demonstrates AP’s ability to integrate new construction with existing structures while delivering modern, high-quality educational and athletic environments for growing school districts.
