Preston Center Renovation

Developed by Crow Holdings and with O’Brien Architects serving as the architect, this renovation project included an elevator addition to the existing parking garage (originally built in the 1960’s), plus the addition of anew HVAC system to an existing tenant space and other minor construction enhancements to the building.

AP was an integral and effective part of the project, taking on the role as general contractor mid-construction, as the previous firm was unable to perform the work that was required. Since then, AP was able to coordinate demolition to portions of the garage with no “as builts”(due to the building’s age), achieve a faster lead time on the elevator fabrication despite the typical long lead time, and achieve faster lead time for all AHUs in order to condition the space for the finish-out contractor (while working alongside them in the same space).
