SMU Clements Hall Scholars' Den Renovation

The Clements Hall Scholars’ Den space is dedicated to supporting the SMU Honors and Scholar’s Community. The existing space consists of lobby areas, office spaces, study rooms, meeting rooms, and a lounge. AP’s renovation scope included selective demolition, minor structural work (concrete, masonry), and interior finish-out work.

The renovation of the campus’ second oldest building involved a comprehensive transformation. This included installing new decorative metal panels, millwork, quartz countertops, wood paneling, linear wood ceiling panels, trims, doors, and a glass railing system. The project also encompassed new flooring, tiling, painting, appliances, an ADA wheelchair lift, fire protection, MEP systems, communication setups, AV systems, as well as electronic safety and security systems.
