This 57,000-sf addition to the Imig Music Building located on the University of Colorado Boulder’s campus expanded and updated the facility to keep music programs thriving. The project included a partial demo of the existing south wing while the remainder of the building, including performance halls, remained functioning. The new addition includes state-of-the-art facilities, including a 120-seat recital hall, large rehearsal halls, classrooms, practice rooms, teaching studios, and administrative offices.
The expanded Imig Music Building encourages collaboration and innovation in growing areas like music entrepreneurship, wellness and media and technology.
The new or renovated performance, rehearsal, studio, learning, staff, wellness and entrepreneurship spaces help students and faculty flourish—intellectually, physically, emotionally and musically.
